In March, Villena celebrates its Medieval Festival, where visitors can enjoy the National Championship of Medieval Combat. <\/p>\n<p>Another iconic stop is a visit to the Chap\u00ed Theatre, which serves as the cultural epicenter of the Alto Vinalop\u00f3 region. It is named after the local composer Ruperto Chap\u00ed. <\/p>\n<p>A testament to Villena\u2019s rich history can be found in the Municipal Museum, home to its famed Treasure, which includes pieces over 3,000 years old. Villena\u2019s frontier character\u2014as a crossroads between the Meseta and the Mediterranean\u2014has directly influenced its local cuisine.
